Here we are trying to make “it” happen for ourselves by working, going to school, and taking care of our families. Which I think is wonderful. But when do you ever get a chance to sit down and just dream?? I mean really I know some of you may be like, “Man this dude took this blog too far”. But honestly, when have you sat down and dreamt of everything you wanted? If you can’t remember, we are going to start today. We are going to dream today. It cant hurt. By the way you know they say “if you can dream it you can achieve it”. Well lets dream it. Don’t dream just to get gas in your car, or dream your boss won’t get mad at you if you take Friday off. Dream BIG!! Remember a dream is the first step to greatness!!

Dream you made it playing ball.
Dream you made her smile,
Dream that for him, you would crawl a mile.
Dream you could bring your loved ones back,
Dream that in your life there was nothing you lack.
Dream you got out the hood,
Dream that everything you did people understood.
Dream your momma had her dream car,
Dream your daddy made it this far.
Dream you bought your favorite house,
Dream you fell in love with the perfect spouse.
Dream that the sunny days last forever,
Dream your pain never gets the best of you…I mean NEVER.
Dream you put on for your city,
Dream you touched the lives of many.
Dream you got your brother on his feet,
Dream you found a place where you and your sister could frequently meet.
Dream you work at your dream job,
Dream of your favorite feast: bar-b-que, corn bread, yams, even corn on the cob.
Dream your story will be told for years,
Dream happiness was the only reason you shed tears.
Dream you hugs warmed the soul,
Dream when your child is delivered a star is born.
Dream you had it all,
Just don’t dream you will ever fall.
