We work our whole lives to be successful. Some of us follow the traditional route of success by attending college, receiving a diploma, and working for a high paying employer. Some of us skip that route and become inventors, athletes, entertainers, and the list goes one. However some of us may not be as fortunate to go to school, or throw a football 60 yards, or dance like Michael Jackson. Some of us work two jobs while still living with siblings or certain family members such as a grandmother, mother, or aunt. The judgmental society we live will tell you that the person working two jobs will not be as successful as the person who graduated from college, which personally I think is absolutely stupid to think such a thing. Nevertheless we are told, or rather taught, that there is only one way to succeed and that way is the traditional "school to good job" route. We begin to feel as if we won’t succeed if we don’t abide by society’s manual on “How to Become a Success”. As a result we start to doubt ourselves, and we “pull the plug”, so to speak, on our dreams. Anyone can sit behind a desk and reiterate what a teacher says, however intelligence and a dream can not be copied. I beleive intelligence is the ability to put a particular skill set together to accomplish a goal or solve a problem. Several of the worlds richest people, according to Forbes Magazine, do not have college degrees but they had intelligence and a dream. Now I know there are people right now who are struggling to finish school, or struggling to find what they want to do for a career, or even struggling to find themselves. And at this point you just feel lost. Your “bio” does not meet up to society’s standards of a person succeeding. I understand some of you have been hit with a couple of setbacks and you feel a little stagnant in your purist to success, and I am here to tell you without struggle there isn’t any progress. When you get some time today, look at yourself in the mirror and just stare. While staring, think about all the things you have gone through and the places you WANTED to be or you think you SHOULD have been if a certain event did not occur. Now with all that, whatever you went through, you are still standing. Trust me a lot of people cant say the same.
The say life is what you make it,
Well starting today I’m going to make it fit.
The problems I face are only subliminal ways for me to be great.
Optimism is the power that battles anger, disdain, and hate.
Fate holds a place at the table of life for all of us,
While at the table we can eat up or starve but either way we will soon be dust.
Change for the best can be our “breath of fresh air”,
Faith and hard work…Now that’s a hell of a pair.
Adversity is the step child to success,
When she approaches no need to fight just give her your best.
100% is all you can give,
We only have one life to live.
Be careful of fear,
For it only creates more fear.
Beware of negative thoughts,
Because while on your path you can get lost.
Embrace the fact you can dream,
Because your dreams are not as far as the seem.
Strive for perfection never settle for less,
Even through hardship give your best,
No one can determine what your future holds,
So never mind “naysayers” they are just like bad colds.
We must take care of them before the begin to linger,
We want out systems as clear as the voice of a powerful singer.
Today we start paving our glory road,
For there is no pressure greater than your own load.
Accept your obstacles, embrace fear,
Just a couple more steps…You are so near!!

Once again I agree with you bro. Life is like any job that you have, it is what you make it. I do not beleive u will necessarily become sucessful after completing college. For it is only better preparation and an extra boost for a better life. I beleive that a well thought out plan and strong mindset will lead to any man becoming successful....
